Full Body Wellness Massage

This Full Body Massage is a light/medium pressure massage.

Your body Is a container for the stresses you encounter every day.  Massage helps you release that accumulated stress, and take care of your body and your health.
Does life have you running in circles — stress, strain, aches, and pains? This Full Body Wellness Massage promotes relaxation, relieves pain and muscle tension, and helps pull you back together. Relaxing, effective, and heavenly! Specific complaints or problems may not be fully addressed in Full Body Wellness Massage. For that, we suggest scheduling a Therapeutic Massage (designate light/medium pressure vs firm/deep pressure), Deep Tissue Intensive, Medical Massage or Myofascial Release (MFR) for treatment type work.

Firm/Deep Pressure Massage

Some people confuse "Deep Tissue Therapy" (which is treatment-oriented for specific problems and regions) with a full body massage using firmer pressure. This is for the person who says they want firm pressure used over their whole body.  This massage stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system to promote relaxation and relieve pain and muscle tension. Specific complaints or problems may not be fully addressed in this massage. For that, we suggest scheduling a Therapeutic Massage (designate light/medium pressure vs firm/deep pressure), Deep Tissue Intensive, Medical Massage or Myofascial Release (MFR) for treatment type work.

*Hot Stone Massage*

In need of a vacation in a warm destination? Or penetrating heat for deep muscle relief? Hot Stone Massage is an extremely relaxing therapeutic massage, which benefits all aspects of the body, mind, and spirit. By incorporating hot stones, the deep penetration of heat helps decrease inflammation, increase circulation, and smooth out tight muscles, allowing your body to move with ease. The hot stones aid in strengthening the energetic flow of the body, calming the emotions, quieting the mind and uplifting the spirit. The perfect vacation and the perfect answer to deep muscle release!

*Raindrop Therapy* (RDT)

Raindrop Therapy Uses 9 Pure, Powerful Young Living Essential Oils – Immune Support and More!

When scheduling, let us know if you have any gluten sensitivity.

Boost your immune system and ease muscle tension! Raindrop Therapy is a specialized type of aromatherapy massage combining nine highly anti-microbial essential oils, specific massage techniques, and moist heat to boost your immune system, while soothing and relaxing your nervous system and your body. RDT is a powerful treatment that continues to benefit your body for days and sometimes weeks after application! It’s extremely beneficial during the flu season. It’s well known that there are viruses and bacteria that lie dormant within the spine causing many types of degenerative and inflammatory problems. Stress intensifies tension and inflammation in the body, which in turn further taxes an already zapped immune system. The use of essential oils helps to eliminate these microbes and helps your body return to health. Raindrop Therapy essential oils are anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, and very relaxing. Contraindicated in pregnancy.

Reiki

Check with the Front Desk concerning Therapist availability. We do offer Reiki Facials.

Reiki (pronounced Ray’ Key) is a type of energy work, an ancient laying-on of hands healing technique that uses Universal Life Energy to heal and balance the subtle energies within your body. Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual imbalances. The intention is to create deep relaxation, to help speed healing, reduce pain, and decrease other symptoms you may be experiencing. It is deeply relaxing, extremely effective and a wonderful complementary therapy in any healing or wellness program. There are no contraindications or ill effects when using Reiki. Generally, you’ll lie on your back, fully clothed, on a massage table, although, depending upon the need you could also be sitting. For example, this work is extremely beneficial for someone who has suffered a concussion or has headaches; we might provide some of your treatment with you sitting. During a Reiki session, the practitioner places his or her hands lightly on or above different parts of your clothed body. The hands are intended to be a conduit for Universal Life Energy, balancing energy within and around the body. A Reiki session usually lasts about an hour. Some practitioners follow a predetermined sequence of hand placements, allowing their hands to rest on each body placement area for 2 to 5 minutes before moving on to the next. Intuitive practitioners may move their hands in a seemingly random order to the area where they feel the energy is most needed. Sometimes direct touch is not indicated so the practitioner will have their hands a few inches above your body. You may or may not “feel” anything but clients often notice the practitioner’s hands are very warm with a deep penetrating comforting heat.
